We are happy to present you the 2nd official racing series by TREU -
The TREU pre '66 classic car clash
The new racing series will lead you to the adventure of driving legendary classic cars from the wild 50's up to the roaring mid 60's on 8 tracks in 16 races.
The cars
Allowed are all cars that are manufactured 1966 at the latest and earlier. You can find a complete car list in the Club discussion TREU racing series thread.
All cars can be tuned to a maximum PI of B500.
Track list and number of laps
Mugello Full 14/8 lsps, pitstop after 6 laps possible
Mazda Laguna Seca 22/13 laps
Iberian Full 29/17 laps
Maple Valley full 21/13 laps
Bernese Stadtplatz ( townplace in the english version???) 20/12 laps
Sebring Club 21/13 laps
Silverstone Full 14/8 laps, pitstop after 6 laps possible
Sedona Club 20/12 laps
Rules
As before in the SEAT championship, that means:
- In the first race of an event you have to absolve a mandatory pitstop after lap 8 ( exceptions
as above)
- Damage simulation is set to cosmetic, but we are pleading for a fair race style
- Team racing is allowed but only one member of a team can participate in a race
- The used livery is your choice but your selected race number must be visible on both sides of the
car
- The change of cars is allowed and will be necessary from week to week, but a change during an
event (between race 1 and 2) is not possible. You have to race the 2nd heat in the car you've
started with in the first heat of a track.
Points
1st in the race = 25 points
2nd in the race= 21 points
3rd in the race = 18 points
4th in the race = 15 points
5th in the race = 12 points
6th in the race = 11 points
7th in the race = 10 points
8th in the race = 9 points
9th in the race = 8 points
10th in the race = 7 points
11th in the race = 6 points
12th in the race = 5 points
13th in the race = 4 points
14th in the race = 3 points
15th in the race = 2 points
16th in the race = 1 points
Your total point score will be divided by the number of races you participated in. This is what will determine your overall finishing position at the end of the championship. Bear in mind however that if you do not enter the required number of races, which is 10 out if the 16, your finishing position will be lower than that of a member who does.
1 bonus point will be awarded to the driver who sets the fastest lap at the end of each race. Remember however, a clean lap (without triangle) will always beat a dirty lap (with triangle). If there are no clean laps set, the fastest dirty lap will be awarded the bonus point.
The results table will be posted in the second post after rounds one and two have been completed.
Dates and Times
The series will start at Friday, 19th October and will be held weekly
Time of the race start is 9pm british time / 10pm European continental time.
The lobby will be set up usually by Mr. Antt. If he is unable to join the date, another member (Jim10000 or bluesky0870) will host the race.
We wish you a lot of fun with the new series. See you all on the track.
